As a young guitar player growing up in the 1980’s, I had many choices. That choice became clear on January 25th, 1986. I was able to save money and purchase a front row ticket to the Twisted Sister / Dokken Concert. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I could hear the beginning to “Unchain the Night”. There I was standing right in front of George, watching every move… 

This website is dedicated to my passion and admiration for George Lynch. I wanted a place where everyone can come together as one, and share stories, guitar builds, tones, and so on. A brotherhood of Lynchif you will. Why do I like George? He constantly evolves as a player in his quest for tone.
He never plays it safe and always takes musical risks live. He is considered to be one of the most influential and famous 80’s guitarists. When he plugs in, you know it’s him…
George continues to record music, and still finds the time to tour. Unlike some other guitar players (and I have met quite a few) George gives back to his fans. It seems that Mr. Scary is always doing something. Whether it is making instructional videos, side projects, building Mr Scary Guitars or guitar clinics. He’s a busy man.
